Location: Cincinnati, OH (In-Office Required)Employment Type: Full-TimeReports to: CEOIndustry: Marketing / Advertising AgencyRole OverviewWe are a growing marketing agency seeking a Client Operations & Marketing Lead to run day-to-day execution, client coordination, and internal accountability so the CEO can focus on sales and growth.This role is responsible for making sure marketing plans actually get executed—on time, at quality, and with clear ownership .This is a leadership role , not an entry-level coordinator position.Client Operations & Account LeadershipServe as the primary internal owner for client deliveryFacilitate and lead client communication related to:TimelinesDeliverablesCampaign executionOngoing marketing initiativesTranslate marketing strategies into clear execution plans for clientsEnsure clients feel informed, confident, and supportedReduce the need for CEO involvement in ongoing client managementMarketing Execution SupportWork closely with marketing leadership to understand:Campaign strategyChannel mix (PPC, social, creative, web, video)KPIs and success metricsEnsure internal teams are aligned with and executing the intended strategyIdentify misalignment early and course-correct before issues escalateHelp guide campaign rollouts, sequencing, and execution timelinesThis role supports strategy execution but does not create high-level strategy.Operations, Systems & Workflow OwnershipOwn Monday.com as the central project management systemEnsure all client work is properly created, scoped, assigned, and trackedMaintain and improve workflows, templates, and SOPsHelp implement and improve internal systems for efficiency and clarityTrack team capacity and flag overload before it becomes a problemTeam Accountability & LeadershipHold team members accountable to deadlines and quality standardsRun weekly production and delivery meetingsEnsure clear ownership of tasks and deliverablesAddress performance issues directly and professionallyEnforce consistency, standards, and follow-throughIssue Resolution & EscalationAct as the first line of defense for:Client concernsMissed deadlinesScope creepSolve problems independently whenever possibleRequired Qualifications3–7 years of experience in a marketing or advertising agencyDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams or projectsStrong working knowledge of Monday.com (required)Experience managing client accounts and deliverablesSolid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals:PPCSocial mediaCreative productionWeb / video workflowsExcellent organizational and communication skillsComfortable enforcing accountability and having direct conversationsIn-office availability required (this is a hands-on leadership role)Ideal Candidate ProfileOrganized, decisive, and calm under pressureProcess-driven but people-awareComfortable leading both clients and internal teamsNot conflict-avoidantDoes not need micromanagementEnjoys turning chaos into orderUnderstands how agencies actually work (not just theory)If you're uncomfortable holding people accountable, this role is not a fit.Bonus potential tied to:Client retentionOn-time deliveryOperational improvementsJob Type: Full-timePay: $53,565.55 - $64,509.05 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: In personPowered by JazzHR
