Utz Quality Foods is growing and looking for a detail-oriented, career-driven Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at our Hanover, PA manufacturing facility. We are proud to offer opportunities for long-term career development in a stable and growing manufacturing environment.Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30 PM - 5:30 AMResponsibilities:Perform in-process and finished product quality inspections and testingCollect product samples and conduct physical and sensory evaluationsRecord and track QA data using Excel, RedZone, and other computer-based systemsSupport Environmental Monitoring Programs through sampling and documentationAssist with special testing and sample collection for Research & DevelopmentMonitor product quality specifications and ensure compliance with food safety standardsMaintain accurate records of raw materials, lot tracking, and supplier informationHelp maintain and calibrate laboratory equipmentPartner with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and other departments to support food safety and product qualityPromote GMP, OSHA, and food safety compliance throughout the facilitySupport a team-oriented environment focused on continuous improvementRequirementsExperience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Food Manufacturing, Lab Testing, or a related field preferredBasic understanding of quality control processes and food safety standardsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow testing schedules and proceduresComfortable working in a manufacturing and laboratory environmentBasic computer skills including Excel and data entryExperience with RedZone, ERP systems, or quality tracking systems is a plusGood communication and organizational skillsMechanical aptitude or troubleshooting experience is helpfulAbility to work independently and collaboratively across departmentsOur Recruitment Process Easy Application (5 mins): Introduce yourself and answer a few key questions to get started.Engaging Chat Interview (20-25 mins): Share your experiences in an online chat, highlighting how your values align with ours.Live Interview: Selected candidates will meet with the hiring manager to explore their alignment with the team and overall Utz company culture.Continuously Pursuing Excellence!Here at Utz, we have a passion for exciting and delighting consumers with delicious snack foods made from high quality ingredients.
