Join a leading manufacturing company in Grayslake, Illinois, where you’ll play a critical role in sourcing essential materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring smooth operations through strategic procurement and inventory management.
Our client is a well-established and reputable company known for its commitment to excellence in manufacturing and supply chain management. Specializing in delivering high-quality products and services, they have built a strong reputation in the industry for innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Buyer Responsibilities:
Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies
Source and purchase essential materials, while managing supplier relationships
Create, review, process, and reconcile purchase orders
Maintain accurate part data and planning parameters in Epicor
Analyze and negotiate pricing and delivery times with vendors
Develop and maintain inventory controls, tracking demand for materials
Ensure the quality, price, reliability, and availability of goods and services
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (flexibility for earlier hours)
Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience
Buyer Qualifications:
Experience in supply chain, purchasing, and inventory control
Proven ability in strategic procurement and vendor management
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel preferred) and Epicor ERP system
Focused on continuous improvement and best practices implementation
Location: Grayslake, IL
