We partner with some of the most well-known brands in the world, delivering custom seating solutions that combine style, comfort, and durability.Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and organized Learning & Development Intern to support employee training initiatives and the continued rollout of our Learning Management System (LMS).This internship provides hands-on experience in employee development, onboarding, training systems, and learning content organization within a manufacturing environment. The intern will assist with organizing training materials, supporting onboarding initiatives, improving the learner experience, and helping structure training content used across the organization.This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact how employees learn, develop, and succeed at Gasser Chair.Internship DetailsDuration: Summer 2026Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per weekLocation: On-site in Youngstown, OHJob Type: Seasonal (Temporary), Part-timeKey ResponsibilitiesAssist with organizing and maintaining training content within the company's LMSSupport development and organization of onboarding and employee training materialsHelp structure learning paths, catalogs, and training assignments within the LMSAssist in converting policies, SOPs, and existing documents into training-friendly learning contentUpload and manage training documents, videos, and resources within the LMS platformSupport creation of quizzes, checkpoints, and learner engagement materialsAssist with tracking training completion data and generating reportsCollaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to support training initiatives across operationsHelp identify opportunities to improve training organization, usability, and overall learner experienceWhat You Will GainHands-on experience with a corporate LMSExposure to employee training and organizational development initiativesExperience supporting onboarding and learning processes within a manufacturing environmentOpportunity to work on projects that directly impact employee learning and engagementCollaboration with leadership and cross-functional departments across the organizationQualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Educational Technology, Organizational Leadership, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong interest in employee development, training systems, and learning processesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize information in a clear and user-friendly mannerProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with LMS platforms or content creation tools is a plusCreative mindset with an interest in improving learner engagement and training effectivenessWhy Gasser ChairAt Gasser Chair, you will be part of a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and practical problem-solving.
