Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Practitioner I to join our Finance, Payroll team. This role will play a critical part in supporting payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Assist payroll team members with processing weekly and biweekly payroll Resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner Process time-off requests accurately and in accordance with company policy Review timecards for exceptions and make necessary adjustments Maintain accurate time and attendance records Organize and maintain payroll-related filing systems Ensure confidentiality of employee payroll information Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures Who You Are: A team player who collaborates easily and supports others A strategic thinker who sees the big picture and plans ahead A fast learner who adapts quickly and embraces new challenges A strong communicator who can clearly express ideas and listen actively A self-starter who takes initiative and drives work forward Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of relevant experience in payroll processing Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Working knowledge of payroll best practices Experience with ADP is a plus, but not required Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) PTO and company holidays Employee discounts The pay range for this position is: $60,000 - $68,000 per yearPlease note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
