Overview This is a full‑time, commissioned career opportunity that can be hybrid based out of our Oak Hill Plaza location in King of Prussia, PA . Work with customers and prospective customers to assist them in identifying and securing a mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances and is designed to help them achieve their financial goals, including home ownership. Requires acting on internal leads but also cultivating external lead sources to generate origination of mortgage loans. A significant amount of time will be spent building relationships and soliciting first mortgages with realtors, builders, accountants, lawyers, financial advisors and other referral sources to obtain mortgage loan applications. Responsibilities Develop and expand referral sources to solicit first mortgages and maintain a continual stream of origination volume; maintain regular contact with realtors, builders, developers and other centers of influence. Collect and analyze applicant’s financial information at a branch location to assess qualification, interview applicants, and recommend appropriate mortgage products while advising on risks and benefits. Engage in customer‑specific persuasive sales activity to encourage potential customers to do business with the company and cross‑promote other services and financial products to referral sources. Perform work related to the loans originated, including obtaining and analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance, following up with customers via telephone and email, completing paperwork, and communicating throughout the process. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required). Experience: 4+ years in current residential mortgage lending (Required). Experience: 4+ years establishing referral sources outside of branch referrals to generate a continual stream of loan originations (Required). Experience: 4+ years proven ability to develop and maintain significant referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization (Required).
