Teller
We are searching for a quality candidate to fill our teller role. Tellers are expected to process all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures. Tellers are the “frontline” of our credit union and play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable completing multiple transactions daily, communicate with different types of members and provide product information to members.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits and loan payments, process withdrawals, etc)
Assess member needs and introduce new products and services (loan promotions, credit cards, savings accounts, etc)
Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction
Comply with regulatory requirements
Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
Resolve members’ issues and provide relevant information
Skills
Proven working experience in banking, personal banking, retail banking or financial services is preferred
Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment
Strong communication and time management skills
Customer satisfaction-oriented
Attention to detail and mathematical skills
High school education or GED equivalent required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.54 - $16.92 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
