We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Processing Programmer to oversee the digital workflow for our industrial saw operations. In this role, you will transform engineering blueprints into high-efficiency machine code, ensuring that every cut is precise and material waste is kept to a minimum. You will be the technical link between our design, procurement, scheduling team, and the shop floor, ensuring production stays on schedule and meets our quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming & Nesting: Create and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting (plate or tube) and automated saws using CAD/CAM software. Raptor Program for SawsEfficiency Management: Utilize advanced nesting techniques to maximize material yield and reduce scrap costs. Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to determine the most efficient cutting sequence and tool paths. Machine Coordination: Select appropriate machine parameters, including gas pressures, nozzle types, feed rates, and blade speeds based on material specs. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve edge quality through program adjustments. Machine Operation: Assist with machine operations as requiredCompensationThe starting pay range for this position is $21-26 per hour.
