The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for precision manufacturing, selecting appropriate tools and machining processes, and collaborating with engineering and production teams. Additional duties include troubleshooting CNC issues, ensuring proper setup, and maintaining high standards of quality control and accuracy in manufacturing operations.QualificationsProficiency in CNC programming, G-code, and CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam and Solid WorksStrong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and metal/material propertiesExperience in reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsAbility to perform quality checks using precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to CNC programming and machine operationAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiencyAbility to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with engineering and production staffPrior experience in CNC programming for industries such as aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing is a plusHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certification in machining, manufacturing, or related field preferred
