Job Description TherapistSHALL MEET ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:Master of social work or Master in psychology or Master in marriage and family therapyEligible to take the California exam for licensed clinical social work or licensed marriage and family and child counselorLMFT or an LCSWThe therapist is part of a multidisciplinary team that consists of a psychiatrist, registered nurse, a licensed clinical social worker, a mental health head of service, mental health rehabilitation specialists and an administrator.Responsibilities and duties include:The development of initial and ongoing training plans for direct care staff and facility managers.Provide mental health services to 6 youth. Individual therapy, group therapy and family therapy.Develop, implement and report on a continuous quality improvement plan consistent with all pertinent legal, regulatory, contractual requirements and Our Healing Center policies and procedures.Complete intake, treatment plan, assessment and transfer/discharge plan for each youth.Complete the Needs and Services Plan for each youth and all required updates, including mandated 30 day updates of plans.Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and monthly CFT or MDT.Complete CANS, assessments etc and documentation on the electronic health record.Coordinate, evaluate and report on the access of core services for each youth.Must have no criminal background and active California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Company Description Our Healing Center Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program provides services to male youth,12-21 years old, in foster care.Our program provides a therapeutic and trauma-informed environment that nurtures youth with a history of trauma. Our goal is to improve the youth's mental health, gain independent living skills, improve school outcomes and work on relationships, in order to return to a home-like environment.
