JavaScript Developer

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer to join our growing team!You will join the ClassifyIT development team building new capabilities for the current classification marking tool and the tool supporting M365 web-based applications. The role contributes to the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable solutions using JavaScript, modern frameworks, and service integration.Qualifications:Three (3) years of software engineering experienceBachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical fieldAn additional four (4) years of software engineering experience may be substituted for the degree, for a total of seven (7) yearsRequired:Working knowledge of JavaScript/DOM, TypeScript, and Node.js/npmExperience with AWS, including the ability to navigate AWS dashboards and servicesHands-on experience using Docker (command line) and converting applications to Docker imagesExperience using Git (command line), GitLab CI, and GitLab pipelinesFamiliarity with Jest and CypressWorking knowledge of JIRA and GitLabExperience developing functional and unit testsExperience performing code reviewsAbility to work directly with customersTroubleshooting skillsAbility to adhere to coding standards and follow team policiesDesired Skills:Must be able to work in a collaborative environment, with minimal supervisionGather, analyze, and capture customer requirementsAdhere to the development processes the team has establishedAssist in the development of requirements for new features and fix defectsCreate and expand unit testsKnowledge of the Microsoft Office JavaScript APITrack and respond to user issues and questionsTriage user issuesTest new software releases and merge requestsExperience working collaboratively with a team of developers, contractors, and the GovernmentContribute content for the development of high-level documentation and guidesStrong time management skills
