This role supports production and supply chain operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient handling of raw materials, components, and finished goods while identifying and resolving operational issues.This position provides guidance to team members, supports process improvements, and ensures compliance with inventory control, quality, shipping, and safety requirements. The role operates with a high level of independence and cross-functional coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & Inventory ControlReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, specifications, and quality requirements; document and resolve discrepancies.Safely transport materials between warehouse, cleanroom, and production areas using appropriate equipment.Execute complex inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments, returns) in ERP systems to maintain accurate records.Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, excess, or discrepancies; initiate corrective actions.Shipping OperationsPrepare outbound shipments including picking, packing, labeling, and documentation in accordance with internal procedures and customer requirements.Generate and verify shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, bills of lading, carrier labels, export documentation where applicable).Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and ensure on-time shipment execution.Verify accuracy of shipped materials against order requirements to prevent shipping errors.Resolve shipment issues (e.g., delays, damages, incorrect shipments) through coordination with logistics, planning, or customer service teams.Receiving OperationsCoordinate inbound deliveries, including unloading, inspection, and system receipt of materials.Validate received quantities, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and shipping documents.Identify, document, and escalate discrepancies or damaged goods.Ensure timely system transactions to enable material availability for production.Maintain organized receiving areas to support efficient material flow and traceability.Problem Solving & Issue ResolutionInvestigate inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and receiving variances; determine root cause and implement corrective actions.Escalate systemic or recurring issues with supporting data and recommended solutions.Track and follow through on open issues to closure.Process Execution & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve material flow, shipping accuracy, and receiving efficiency.Support implementation of process improvements and standardized work.Ensure compliance with ESD, contamination control, and material handling procedures.Kitting, Staging & Production SupportCoordinate kitting and staging activities to support production schedules.Validate completeness and accuracy of materials prior to release to production.Serve as a point of contact for production teams regarding material availability and status.Coordination & Team SupportProvide day-to-day guidance and training to less experienced team members.Support prioritization of workloads across shipping, receiving, and production support tasks.Collaborate with logistics, planning, manufacturing, and quality teams.Inventory Audits & ComplianceLead or support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.Ensure inventory transactions are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.Maintain storage areas in an organized, labeled, and compliant condition.Safety & Work EnvironmentFollow all safety procedures and intervene or escalate unsafe conditionsMaintain clean, organized workspaces aligned to warehouse and cleanroom standards.SkillsCommunication, Detail-Oriented, Documentations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Inventory Adjustments, Inventory Reconciliations, Materials Resource Planning (MRP) Software, Shipment Receiving, Shipping Procedures, Task Organization, Team TrainingEducation & ExperienceMinimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience | RequiredPay Range$18.80 - $24.68Pay Range ExplainedThis role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $18.80 and $24.68 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
