Electronics Assembler

K-TECHnologies, a contract manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical assemblies is looking to hire Electronic Assemblers. In this role you will be required to… Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations involving electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies. Perform assembly of various boards, standoffs, jumper wires, wire harness, subassemblies, final assemblies. Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, assembly worksheets, and other instructional media. Mix and apply various potting compound to assemblies/connectors. Utilize electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, fixtures, and various cleaning procedures; this may require using microscopes, mirrors, picks, and other high-resolution equipment. Be responsible for testing, monitoring, and utilizing soldering irons, crimpers, wristbands, volt/ohmmeter, and hi-pot equipment. Must understand high reliability soldering specifications, obtain and maintain certifications and assemble and inspect assemblies to IPC J-STD Requirements. Know and follow applicable ESD procedures.
