Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

Facility in Colorado Springs, CO seeking Ortho APP locums coverage Rates: $160/hr Opportunity Highlights Dates of Coverage: Feb 9 13 Feb Feb Mar 9 13 Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (No weekends or call). Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level I (300-bed facility). EMR: Epic (Virtual training and modules required). Clinical Responsibilities The provider will support the Orthopedic Surgeon on call by performing the following duties for adult and geriatric patient populations: Inpatient rounding and daily management. Consults and H&Ps. Surgical First Assisting: As needed (experience/certification is highly preferred). General surgical team support. Provider Requirements Certification: Active AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA certification (Required). Licensure: Active Colorado (CO) state license (Required). DEA: Active DEA registration (Required); must be willing to transfer to CO. Experience: Clean malpractice and background history. First Assist experience is highly preferred. NPDB: A Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days must be provided at the time of presentation (Required). Travel: This site will NOT accept local providers.
