Workday Report Lead
OverviewA Workday Senior Consultant is primarily responsible for engineering analytics solutions for Workday HCM and/or Financial clients. This role ensures timely and quality execution of client deliverables and consulting with clients on Workday projects. Candidates should possess a broad understanding of cross functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop reporting solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients. Consults without supervision on complex reporting projects and/or lead Medium Enterprise or Large Enterprise projects depending on domain area(s) specialty. Participates in client sales meetings as a Reporting Subject Matter Expert.The RoleIndependently consults with external clients and participates in all stages of the Workday reporting project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment for Workday applications by developing solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients.Effectively leads small to large client deliverables from start to finish across multiple, concurrent projects utilizing quality standards and consulting methodology.Integrates with other areas across functions to provide a complete solution.Consults on impact of decisions to operating post-implementation and downstream systems.Listens to the client request, assesses actual client need, provides subject matter expertise, proposes alternatives, and recommends solution(s). Depending on scope of project, may coach team members to execute same.Frequently discusses, and can articulate to clients, lessons learned from previous client experience, Workday best practices as well as client Point of View.Depending on scope of project, may coach team members to execute same.Proactively identifies trouble spots for client and recommends solutions.Significantly contributes to the development of internal resources via mentoring, coaching, and directing work.Develops working relationships with other members of project team and management as well as external clients. Shares reporting knowledge and information through regular communications and facilitation.ResponsibilitiesOnshore lead who leads Workday Professional Services Automation & Financials workstream for the assigned set of accounts (Partner certification is mandatory).Apply and execute various AMS and/or Implementation methodologies/activities in these Workday FINS/PSA engagementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams within operations and finance to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday Financial configurations.Lead the day-to-day management of the Workday Financials solutions.Continuously evaluate and optimize Workday Financials processes and configurations to enhance efficiency and user experience.Understand Workday Financials product releases and oversee system regression testing.Good knowledge in SLA constructs and adherenceCoordinate with external and internal stakeholders to create high business impact.Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.Proactively identify and develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization, creating solutions that support metrics for IT and the business stakeholders.Work with clients to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.Maintain the Workday platform with a focus on reporting (including scheduled reports), business process maintenance, security administration, data loads and data auditsComfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to ensure team delivers the project deliverables on time and do consistent timely reminders with vendors and project teamDrive continual business processes improvements throughout the organizationLead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagementsSkills/RequirementsA bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5-7 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience and at least 3-5 years' experience in client facing roles handling managed services in a global delivery modelShould have an expert level understanding of Workday Financials domainWorkday Professional Services Automation certification is mandatory.Able to multitask and perform a variety of duties.Good communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to go the extra mile to solve customer problems.Good Analytical skills with ability to solve complex incidents, provide suggestions/best practicesCloud Hybrid is an equal opportunity employer inclusive of female, minority, disability and veterans, (M/F/D/V).
