Role Description This is a contract hybrid role for a Registered Dietitian based in Orlando, FL, with flexibility for some remote work. The Registered Dietitian will provide nutrition assessments, develop customized care plans, and offer dietary education to patients. Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional care. This role requires documenting patient progress and contributing to the development of operational strategies to meet facility goals. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting nutrition assessments and creating individualized nutrition care plansAbility to educate patients on dietary guidelines and maintain compliance with regulatory standardsStrong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with healthcare teamsCritical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to operational and clinical challengesRegistered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) and licensure in the state of FloridaExperience in long-term care, acute care, or healthcare facilities preferredOrganizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient recordsCompetency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage
