Starting Wage: $40.16 per hourWhat You'll DoAs an Industrial Mechanic supporting our can line operations, you will help drive safety, quality, and efficiency across high-speed production equipment. Your responsibilities include:Operate and maintain can lines while performing and documenting quality checks and measurementsTake ownership of product quality and line efficiency, seeking supervisory support only for unusual quality or operating issuesDiagnose mechanical and quality-related problems, identify required repairs, and return equipment to service with minimal downtimeMove pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes, and cartons as needed to support productionRecord product and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with quality standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all safety regulations and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditionsCollaborate with supervisors and team members on improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost savingsWhat We Need From YouJob RequirementsProven experience in a manufacturing or similar production environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawingsProficiency using measuring hand tools to set up and maintain can line machineryStrong critical thinking and logical problem-solving abilityAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable working at heights, including ladders and elevated platformsExperience & EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentJourneyman Mechanic2+ years of industrial mechanic experience in a manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for long periods-up to 12-hour shifts while operating machineryAdequate upper-body strength to repeatedly pull or push hand tools for equipment repair and adjustmentsAbility to lift up to 40 poundsAbility to remain in constant motionLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERThe above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.All job requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
