Job SummaryCoordinates the receipt, labeling, warehousing and distribution of goods and materials with additional emphasis on increased technical skills, intra- and inter-departmental coordination, and data analysis up to and including responsibility for daily results of a work area.
Essential Job FunctionsPerforms tasks as instructed by coordinator and team lead
Accurately receive and verify received materials using JDE & RF Smart
Learn to identify parts by part number and line
Escalate any packing slip or work order issues to the Planners
Properly label received inventory, verifying part numbers & quantities
Properly note shortages or damages on freight bills and start claims process
Accurately transfer materials to supermarkets using JDE & RF Smart
Safely operate forklift
Ensure all activities and tasks are completed safely
Understand and perform audits and assist cycle count team
Perform any function in receiving and warehouse with minimal supervision
Notify Metrology team, as necessary, for incoming inspection
Initiate discrepancy report to manage any damaged incoming material

QualificationsForklift experience (preferred)
Previous work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting (preferred)
Minimum Education RequiredHigh School Diploma
Minimum Experience RequiredAbility to follow instructions, understand basic inventory procedures and know how to use basic material handling equipment
Must be able to lift loads of approximately 50 pounds or as determined by supervisor
Previous Forklift experience preferred
Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting
Completion of Hazardous Materials Training
Valid Driver's License
