Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling. Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct hire opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor at our headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia! The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and products. This role provides leadership and direction to warehouse personnel, manages staffing and workflow priorities, promotes a culture of safety and accountability, and drives continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.This is a full-time, onsite position. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexibility to support business needs as required.If you are a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply and learn why Busch Vacuum Solutions is a great place to build your career.Job ResponsibilitiesManage daily warehouse and logistics operations, including staffing assignments, workflow priorities, and resource allocationSupervise, coach, train, and develop Warehouse Associates to support productivity, engagement, and performance goalsMonitor order accuracy, inventory movement, productivity metrics, and operational efficiencyEnsure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and established safety standardsConduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and address employee performance concerns as neededCollaborate with purchasing, production, customer service, and other cross-functional teams to resolve operational challengesSupport and lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and 5S activitiesMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environmentInvestigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance and service levelsAssist with inventory control activities and ensure accurate material handling processesParticipate in required leadership, safety, and systems training programsRequired ExperienceAssociate's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field: RequiredBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field: Preferred4+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or material handling operations: RequiredExperience leading and developing hourly employees in a manufacturing or distribution environment: RequiredExperience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): RequiredIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word): RequiredMaterial handling certification and valid driver's license: RequiredExperience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or 5S initiatives: PreferredPersonal QualificationsStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent organizational and prioritization abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementSelf-motivated with a high level of accountability and professionalismJob RequirementsAbility and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history checkMost felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basisWillingness to travel domestically for trainingValid Drivers’ License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standardsEmployment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States.
