Technical Architect

Technical ArchitectImmediate need for a talented Technical Architect. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Northridge, CA (Onsite).Key Responsibilities:Inventory and assess applications, interfaces, data flows, infrastructure dependencies, support models, costs, risks, and business criticality.Lead stakeholder workshops to capture functional, technical, security, compliance, operational, and continuity requirements.Define application disposition criteria and develop evidence-based recommendations for retain, modernize, rationalize, replace, replatform, or retire decisions.Create target-state architecture, integration patterns, migration sequencing, transition plans, and decommissioning roadmaps.Support TSA exit, separation, or carve-out planning by identifying dependencies, exit risks, interim solutions, and cutover requirements.Establish architecture governance, decision records, standards, and traceability across the rationalization program.Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, security, compliance, data, and operations teams to validate recommendations and implementation feasibility.Present findings, options, risks, costs, and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:10 years of experience in application or solution architecture.5 years of experience assessing enterprise application portfolios.3 years of experience delivering application rationalization or modernization programs.Demonstrated experience with TSA exit, separation, divestiture, or carve-out architecting and managing SaaS, facilities, workplace, and physical security understanding of Azure and/or AWS architecture, infrastructure dependencies, and integration architecture.Ability to develop current-state and target-state architecture, application disposition recommendations, transition roadmaps, and executive-level stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, analytical, and written communication skills.Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated industry.Facilities technology, workplace technology, or physical security domain experience.Exposure to operational technology (OT), building management systems, or building of life sciences compliance, computerized system validation, data integrity, records retention, and audit controls.Experience with EHS management systems.Knowledge of utilities monitoring, energy management, or sustainability with workplace or space management systems.Familiarity with audit support, operational controls, and application decommissioning.Knowledge of application portfolio management tools, architecture repositories, and common rationalization frameworks such as TIME or 6R.
