For you, that means working on high performance teams to leverage the power of technology and services delivery to improve care.The Optum EHR Services Millennium Imaging Analyst will support client partnerships to grow our emerging support service line. As a Millennium Imaging Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between end-users, project team members, and other resources while providing exemplary customer service and application support in their assigned solutions. In addition, you will manage logged incidents and support Imaging projects to ensure end users have the best possible experience. EHR Services team members will help position Optum as a center of excellence for application management services.Solid candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate self-motivation, individual leadership, and team collaboration. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary ResponsibilitiesTriage, investigate, and resolve incidents reported by radiology end users related to PACS, imaging workflows, exam orders, study status, and results distributionMonitor and maintain radiology worklists and exception queues; ensure timely resolution of study errors, failed transmissions, and workflow interruptionsPartner with Core and Integration teams on HL7 and DICOM-related issues (eg, ADT, ORM, ORU, DFT) impacting radiology orders, image availability, and results deliveryValidate radiology build and configuration across modalities and clinical areas; troubleshoot missing, delayed, or incorrect study metadataSupport routine updates to radiology dictionaries, modality mappings, exam codes, and PACS configuration in coordination with radiology operationsCollaborate with registration, scheduling, and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient, encounter, and order data flows into imaging systemsParticipate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for radiology and PACS enhancements, interface changes, upgrades, and maintenance releasesOwn and manage Tier 2 PACS and radiology support tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis and clear documentation of fixes and workaroundsCoordinate escalations with Tier 3 teams, vendors, and imaging partners for complex or system-level issuesMonitor PACS system health and performance, proactively identifying potential risks to image acquisition, routing, storage, or viewingMaintain and update knowledge base articles and support documentation for recurring radiology and PACS issuesSupport integration points between Millennium and imaging systems, including PACS, VNAs, modalities, and downstream clinical viewersValidate and test radiology build and interface changes in non-production environments prior to deploymentAssist with change control activities for radiology and PACS updates, including impact analysis, coordination, and risk mitigationTroubleshoot image routing and storage issues across PACS, Merge, Visage, and CAMM 7, coordinating with vendor support and internal teams to ensure continuity of imaging operationsProvide support for Oracle Health (Millennium) applications including design, build, testing, and maintenanceCollaborate with end users to confirm any build changes in the supported systemsIdentify system optimization and enhancement opportunitiesParticipate in implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projectsProvide support for application incidents, including rotations for 24/7 on-call coverageDevelop and maintain training materialsFacilitate communication with stakeholders from knowledge, system configuration, and clinical workflow support4+ years of experience with Oracle Health (Millennium) Imaging systems with a focus on Cardiology (CVNet), PACS, and Radiology (RadNet)4+ years of experience in image matching, troubleshooting, provider supportAbility to travel up to 25%Preferred QualificationsOracle Health Millennium certification in Radiology or related clinical applications (preferred)Experience supporting PACS and enterprise imaging environments, including modality integration, study routing, image availability, and viewing workflowsExperience troubleshooting interface and data flow issues between Millennium, PACS, modalities, VNAs, and downstream clinical systemsExperience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools for incident, problem, and change managementExperience supporting specialty-specific documentation and reporting requirements, including radiology interpretations, exam documentation, and regulatory considerationsExperience with Visage 7 enterprise diagnostic viewer, including deployment, configuration, and integration with Millennium and third-party PACS environmentsExperience with general Millennium workflowsFamiliarity with Oracle Health Millennium Radiology workflows, including order management, exam lifecycle, worklists, and results distributionKnowledge of radiology-related HL7 and DICOM messaging, including ADT, ORM, ORU, and DFT messages impacting imaging orders, studies, and resultsFamiliarity with Millennium security models, role-based access, and imaging-related permissionsFamiliarity with Merge Cardio PACS, including integration with Oracle Health Millennium for cardiology order management, image routing, and results distributionKnowledge of CAMM 7 (Clinical Archive for Medical Media) for long-term image storage, archive management, study lifecycle policies, and data migrationProficiency with MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePointDemonstrated ability to interpret Millennium logs, interface error messages, and system diagnostics related to radiology and imaging workflowsDemonstrated ability to script, query, or automate repetitive tasks using CCL or other reporting/automation toolsKey CompetenciesExperience supporting Millennium upgrades and domain migrationsSolid understanding of imaging processes and their impact on patient and clinical workflowsUnderstanding of Oracle Health Imaging configuration and supportIn-depth knowledge of Millennium EMR and support lifecycleAbility to collaborate across departments, including patient access, The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
