Ongoing Locum Coverage in Minnesota We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity near Mayer, Minnesota. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients across the lifespan???from neonates to geriatrics???within a single-coverage emergency department. The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency care to an average of 15???20 patients per day. Lead a multidisciplinary team including RTs, CRNAs, and mid-level providers. Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient charting and coordination. Consult with specialized support services including Teleintensivists, Psychiatry, and Surgery. Requirements Certification: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Licensure: Active Minnesota State Medical License. Certifications: Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and DEA. Experience: Previous experience in Minnesota or adjacent states is strongly preferred. Logistics: Local candidates are preferred (travel is not covered). Practice Highlights Supportive Environment: Access to General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic support. Streamlined Onboarding: 60???90 day credentialing timeframe. Dynamic Case Mix: Diverse patient population in a well-equipped 11-bed unit.
