You’ll be responsible for delivering complex projects that include critical equipment such as:
Generators (gensets)
Transformers
Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
Switchgear
Surge Protection Devices (SPD)
Chillers
HVAC Systems
CRAC/CRAH Units
Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
You will work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and field service teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery—primarily for hyperscale and colocation data center clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of infrastructure projects from contract award through commissioning and handover.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, manufacturing) and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, contractors) to ensure alignment on technical and timeline requirements.
Oversee the delivery and installation of key infrastructure systems such as generators, UPS, switchgear, HVAC, transformers, and cooling systems.
Ensure compliance with client specifications, local codes, and industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE, UL).
Act as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes, and ensure escalation protocols are followed.
Track project KPIs, including cost performance, schedule adherence, and quality metrics.
Support on-site teams during factory acceptance tests (FATs), site inspections, and commissioning activities.
Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to operations, warranty, or service teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of project management experience delivering infrastructure or industrial equipment projects—preferably within the data center, energy, or heavy MEP sectors.
Strong familiarity with critical infrastructure systems such as gensets, UPS, transformers, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, HVAC, and surge protection devices.
Proven track record managing projects for colocation or hyperscale data centers, including understanding of Tier classifications and redundancy models (e.g., N+1, 2N).
Strong vendor and contractor management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent), as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical one-lines, mechanical plans, and specifications.
Preferred Skills
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Familiarity with data center standards such as Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, IEEE, NFPA.
Experience working with OEMs, general contractors, EPCs, and large-scale data center developers or operators (e.g., Amazon, Google, Equinix, Digital Realty, Meta).
Experience with equipment logistics, site readiness, and coordination of on-site installation or commissioning services.
Understanding of energy efficiency, reliability, and cooling performance metrics in data center environments.
