Title Processor

Title company/Law Firm in Howard County, Maryland seeks a full-time title processor with pre-closing and/or post-closing experience. This processor should be able to work independently and be a strong, calming force to agents, buyers and sellers in the sometime chaotic world of real estate. Great growth potential for the right candidate. Salary to be commensurate with the candidate's experience. The successful candidate will: have strong verbal and written communication skills, have excellent attention to detail be able to effectively multi-task understand how to process a title file cover to cover be willing to take on a senior processing role have a strong understanding of title commitments, CD's, recording, and title processing flow. Requirements & Qualifications include: At least three years of recent, full-time title experience that includes a working knowledge of: Preparing Closing Disclosures & Settlement Statements Pre-Closing and/or Post-Closing Processing (to include lender packages and instrument recording) Disbursement/File Balancing Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Working knowledge of Qualia settlement software preferred, but not required Knowledge of commercial file processing preferred, but not required Candidate must have or be willing to acquire a title producer license Please submit resume with cover letter and salary requirements in confidence.
