Ensures equipment is runningefficiently, safely, and producing quality parts.This role works closely with engineering, production, quality assurance,and welding teams to support automated systems and assist in deployingnew automation solutions.Assist in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of automated weldingequipment and processes used in the fabrication of metal components.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Support project manufacturing approaches by assisting in the setupand implementation of automated equipment and robotic weldingsystems. Participate in project planning and equipment installation phases byassisting with equipment setup, debug, and commissioning activities. Interpret work instructions, prints, and customer specifications toensure automated processes meet production and quality requirements. Monitor and evaluate existing manufacturing processes and automatedsystems to identify issues and support continuous improvementefforts. Apply working knowledge of component design and assembly to supportproper fixturing, part alignment, and repeatability in automatedprocesses. Assist in maintaining processes and procedures to help the companymeet production goals, efficiency targets, and quality standards. Support the design, build, and modification of fixtures, tooling,and mock-ups for automated welding applications. Assist in robot programming and program touch-ups (teach pendant oroffline software) under guidance from engineering. Support the setup and operation of robotic welding cells, includingloading/unloading parts, verifying program execution, and makingminor adjustments. Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including roboticsystems, welding power sources, sensors, and basicelectrical/mechanical components. Assist with integration and maintenance of peripheral devices suchas positioners, clamps, and basic sensor systems. Perform routine maintenance and support preventive maintenanceactivities on automated welding equipment. Conduct test runs and assist with process validation, includingchecking weld quality and part consistency. Document issues, repairs, and process changes, and communicatefindings to engineering and production teams. Assist in evaluating new equipment, tools, and techniques bysupporting testing and trials. Work with quality and engineering teams to ensure compliance withwelding procedures, standards, and inspection requirements. Support training of operators on automated equipment and safeoperation practices. Operate and maintain 3D printers, including routine calibration andtroubleshooting print issues.Promote and actively embrace the concept of professionalism, with anemphasis on quality, commitment, integrity, ingenuity, teamwork, thecommunity, and the environment. Safety is a deeply rooted culturalvalue, and it must be promoted and always enforced.Minimum Qualifications/Experience:**\Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Automation or arelated role within a manufacturing or construction environment. Knowledge of both composite and metal 3d Printing is highlypreferred. Experience using slicing software and executing basicpost-processing steps. Familiarity with resolving common additive equipment errors andperforming preventative maintenance. Base understanding of welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, SMAW), andnon-destructive testing ( DT) methods. Experience with CAD software, and other relevant engineering tools. (SolidWorks, Fusion) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability totroubleshoot and resolve welding issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the abilityto collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects ofwork.
