We’re especially excited to find someone with curiosity around artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, and who is eager to explore how AI tools can improve accounting accuracy, automation, efficiency, and workflow optimization.What You’ll Be DoingAs our Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee core accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial operations, supporting compliance efforts, strengthening internal controls, and helping the organization operate efficiently and effectively.This is a hands-on role that combines technical accounting expertise with process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative thinking.Oversee and execute accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes with accuracy and attention to detailEnsure timely billing, payment processing, reconciliations, and payroll administrationManage vendor records, expense reporting, payroll documentation, and financial data integrityPartner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, answer questions, and improve workflowsSupport month-end and year-end close processes, audits, reporting, and compliance initiativesMaintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and proceduresLeverage systems and AI tools to automate and streamline accounting workflows, enhance data accuracy and reduce manual effortIdentify opportunities for operational improvements and implement more efficient accounting processesMaintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and payroll informationProvide support for special projects, audits, and organizational initiatives as neededWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience with accounting and payroll systems such as Workday, BILL.com, Expensify, or similar platforms preferredIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills requiredAI tools proficiency and curiosity around leveraging technology to improve accounting operationsStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and explain financial information clearlyA proactive, adaptable, and continuous-improvement mindsetWhy You’ll Love Working at BBBWe believe in creating an environment where employees feel supported, empowered, and connected to meaningful work.
