Senior DevOps Engineer
Overview
In this role you will support and elevate core cloud infrastructure across networks, servers, and databases, driving automation and as-code practices. You’ll mentor peers, align work with enterprise strategies, and lead incident and performance management in a 24x7 production environment. You will implement robust monitoring and alerting, collaborating with cross-functional DevOps teams to scale and secure services. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape automation, tooling, and CICD in a fast-paced, AWS-based setup.
ResponsibilitiesSupport core cloud infrastructure systems (networks, servers, AD, Linux/Windows, web/API servers, MongoDB)Design code-based solutions to automate manual tasks and routine DB operationsDrive continuous improvement of engineering processes and infrastructure as codeProvide technical oversight and mentoring to ensure alignment with enterprise directionCollaborate with other DevOps Engineers on design and problem solvingLead incident, problem, and event management for infrastructure and servicesDevelop and maintain monitoring/alerting (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace)Support and implement CICD automation and configuration tools (Jenkins, Chef, Run Deck, Ansible)Proficiency in multiple programming languages for automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, JSON, YAML, Ruby, Go, C#)Infra as code scripting (CloudFormation, Terraform)8+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE in 24x7 AWS environments (EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Inspector)Experience with Golang/MongoDB web-based solutions (3–5+ years)AWS certification preferred but not required
