Oracle Golden Gate DBA Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite) Full TimeThe Oracle DBA will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle databases. This role involves ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of database systems across development, testing, and production environments.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases 11g, 12c, 19c on Linux/Unix/Windows platformsPerform database backup and recovery using RMANImplement and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recoveryMonitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storageApply patches and security updates to maintain complianceManage user access, roles, and privilegesTroubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysisSupport migration and upgrade projects on-prem to cloud or version upgradesWork closely with application teams for schema design and performance tuningSoft Skills:Excellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProactive and self-motivated attitudeMandatory Skills:Oracle Database AdministrationStrong experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, 19cOracle Golden Gate and performance tuning experienceBackup Recovery Expertise in RMAN and Oracle Data PumpPerformance Tuning: SQL tuning, AWR reports, and optimizer strategiesHigh Availability: Oracle RAC and Data Guard configuration and managementSecurity: User management, roles, privileges, and encryptionScripting: Proficiency in Shell scripting for automationOS Knowledge: Linux/Unix administration basicsPatching Upgrades: Applying PSU/CPU patches and version upgradesTroubleshooting: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsGood to Have Skills:Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS RDS for OracleKnowledge of PL/SQL developmentFamiliarity with GoldenGate for replicationExposure to ITIL processes and ticketing toolsExperience Certifications:Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) preferredSkills Mandatory Skills: GoldenGate-DB Administration
