Required Skills: Minimum of 2-3 years of laboratory experience Valid Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Science License Certification from ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathology) or an equivalent credential Proficiency in core laboratory disciplines including Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Body Fluid Analysis Strong ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation such as Beckman DxC 700AU, DxI 9000/800, Ortho VITROS 5600, DiaSorin Liaison XL, Radiometer ABL 90, Abbott Architect i1000, Cellavision, and Sysmex UN-3000 Experience with Meditech Expanse Laboratory Information System highly preferred Capable of working independently with minimal support staff Excellent charting and documentation skills Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience in a hospital or large clinical laboratory setting Knowledge of laboratory workflow optimization Leadership experience in a shift environment Comfortability working in a rapidly changing or transitional lab environment Ability to troubleshoot across multiple instrumentation platforms Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field Professional certification (ASCP or equivalent) Experience working in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Body Fluid Analysis Other Requirements: Eligibility to work independently on all major laboratory equipment Willingness to work 10-hour shifts on a 7/7 schedule (7 days on, 7 days off), including evening and night shifts Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as scheduled Ability to reach other facilities for troubleshooting emergencies Scrub color: Pewter Free parking provided Competency in Meditech Expanse is highly preferred Take the next step in your laboratory career by applying today!
