Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Police Officer position based in Hartford, CT. The Police Officer will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, conducting criminal investigations, preserving evidence, and collaborating with members of the legislature, its staff, and the public to ensure a safe and secure environment in which to conduct the legislative process. This dynamic role requires vigilance, professionalism, and a commitment to community service while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Minimum Qualifications Have no Class A or Class B misdemeanor convictions or any act of perjury or false statement.Have no felony convictions.Did not resign, retire or dismissed from a police officer position while under investigation for malfeasance or serious misconduct.
