Digital Sales Account ExecutiveSJ Mag Media is a multi-media company with an expanding product line and a loyal, connected audience. In the past 26 years, the company has expanded from one print magazine to a multi-media outlet with a strong digital presence and annual events that sell out again and again. We are looking for a dynamic Digital Account Executive to assist in our growth.This is a part-time/contract remote position with the opportunity to progress to full time. Will be required to attend in-person meetings as well as (2-4) SJ Mag events throughout the year. Digital Account ExecutiveThis position will play a vital role in developing, selling and expanding our digital and event products. Candidate must have proven digital sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities include:· Create and sell integrated media promotional solutions across all platforms.· Think outside the box and strategize on digital products that keep up with emerging trends.· Cold call & prospect for new customers.· Identify and develop key advertising placement decision-makers, and initiate and pursue productive, consultative relationships.· Develop sales proposals and custom marketing presentations for advertising clients.· Attend networking, community and client events providing a strong representation of the SJ Mag brand.To be successful here you possess:· 3-5 years of advertising sales experience across media platforms.· Proven record of closing new business.· Ability to work with and effectively communicate to a full range of clients – from small, local businesses to corporate accounts and marketing/advertising agencies.· Great knowledge of South Jersey area & businesses.· Cold calling and negotiation skills.· Ability to work independently.What’s in it for you:Competitive hourly pay + commission/bonusesUnlimited earning potential based on performanceFlexible scheduling that works around school, parenting or another jobHands-on experience in a fast-paced environmentSupportive team environmentHelp customers find solutions/products they actually love
