Quality Engineer

Job Description Description FII USA, Inc ., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality standards and implement quality improvement initiatives. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Supporting Quality department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.The Quality Engineer will develop and maintain quality systems, support manufacturing operations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality system procedures and documentationConduct quality assurance testing and statistical analysis of manufacturing processesLead root cause analysis investigations for warranty claims and product nonconformancePerform hardware/software analysis including DTC testing, bench testing, and PCB component investigationsManage and execute CAPA projects using problem-solving and statistical toolsMaintain Risk Management documentation including Risk Analysis, FMEAs, and validation reportsSupport internal/external quality audits and compliance activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process improvementsProvide technical support to manufacturing operations and quality control processesDesign and implement inspection methods and testing proceduresLead process and test method validation activitiesMonitor supplier quality performance and coordinate corrective actions for supplier-related issuesDevelop and maintain quality metrics dashboards to track performance and identify trendsFacilitate training on quality procedures, standards, and tools for production and support staffLead quality planning activities during project kickoff phases (APQP, PPAP as applicable)Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management system standardsParticipate in customer meetings, audits, and quality reviews as neededAnalyze field returns and customer complaints to drive long-term quality improvementsOther duties as assignedQualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field requiredMinimum 3+ years of experience in Engineering and/or QualityTechnical expertise in SMT, electronics, PTH, AOI, and electronic measurement instrumentsLean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or DMAIC methodology experience preferredASQ Quality certification desiredEnglish communication and presentation skills requiredReasons you should work for us: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.401K with employer contribution.Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center available for all employees.Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.
