Senior Packaging Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Framingham, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 47 per hourWe are seeking a Senior-level Packaging Designer to serve as an integral member of our cross-functional team, delivering trend-forward brand packaging solutions that enable our businesses and brands to evolve across our global divisions. As the creative force responsible for driving the development of all packaging and branding across selected categories, you will oversee supplier relationships to ensure that packaging quality standards and deadlines are consistently met.In this role, you will partner in close collaboration with Product Development and Buyers to identify and create successful brand packaging. Additionally, you will direct internal team members, freelancers, and contractors in the design, content creation, and flawless execution of trend-right branding solutions.Responsibilities:Oversees the creation of trend forward brand packaging across various home categories.Partners with product development and merchandising to fill lifestyle needs by product category. Influences the organization on design decisions.Partners with the Sr. Product Development Managers, Trend Teams and Divisional Manager to create compelling brand packagingEnsures the quality of the vendor's packaging through an established approval process and ensures all deadlines are met.Creates and directs brand packaging for a wide variety of products (boxes, hangtags, labels, etc).Prioritizes and directs designers, freelancers, interns and/or contractors in design and content creation.Follow-through from conception to shelf - providing approvals and overseeing successful execution of all components before press and delivery. Communicate with product development and regulatory teams throughout the design process, including reviewing and proofing packaging.Maintains a strict adherence to T&A and deadlines. Establishes parameters of acceptable tolerances in print/color/construction while developing and implementing methods to improve efficiencies.Manages the photography and photography requirements for packages.
