Your commitment to excellence will help us uphold our standards of care. What you’ll do Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Provide support during procedures such as cardiac catheterization and IV infusion. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies. Basic qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail. Preferred qualifications Experience with Epic or Cerner electronic medical record systems. Background in critical care or telemetry nursing. Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of acute pain management techniques and medication administration protocols.
