General Laborer - 2nd Shift

Job Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support daily operations in a metal fabrication shop. This role involves assisting skilled fabricators, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing various manual tasks to ensure production runs efficiently.Key Responsibilities Assist fabricators, welders, and machine operators with daily production tasksLoad, unload, and move raw materials, parts, and finished productsOperate basic shop equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and press machines (training provided)Clean, deburr, and prepare metal parts for fabrication or finishingMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Help with packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipmentPerform basic maintenance and shop housekeeping tasksFollow work instructions and meet production deadlinesJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLATHE, KS.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
