Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for a dependable Logistics Coordinator to support inventory flow, parts management, and daily distribution activities for a wholesale distribution operation in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who is organized, service-minded, and comfortable balancing warehouse coordination with system accuracy. The person in this role will help keep materials moving efficiently while maintaining reliable records and supporting both internal teams and customer needs.Responsibilities:• Oversee parts and materials inventory by monitoring stock levels, completing routine counts, and resolving discrepancies promptly.• Receive incoming shipments, place items in designated storage locations, and maintain an orderly parts area for efficient access.• Enter orders and inventory updates into company systems with a strong focus on data accuracy and timely processing.• Coordinate outbound and inbound shipping activities to support smooth day-to-day logistics operations.• Maintain clear documentation of inventory transactions, product movement, and order activity across the operation.• Respond to parts-related questions from internal stakeholders and customers by providing timely status updates and order information.• Support warehouse efficiency by keeping work areas clean, organized, and aligned with operational standards.• Previous experience in parts coordination, warehouse operations, inventory control, or a closely related environment.• Hands-on familiarity with material handling processes and general distribution workflows.• Working knowledge of logistics or supply chain operations, including shipping and receiving activities.• Ability to use business systems for front-end data entry and transaction updates with a high level of accuracy.• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct inventory inconsistencies.• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including comfort using spreadsheets such as Excel.• Effective customer service and communication skills when supporting both internal teams and external contacts.• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while staying organized and dependable.TalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
