Power BI Designer/DeveloperFull Time, RemoteWe are seeking an experienced Power BI Designer/Developer to join our team! As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI. Your expertise in data visualization, storytelling, and business intelligence will help us drive decision-making across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop high-quality, user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, marketing) to understand business requirements and create tailored solutionsDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's data landscape, including data sources, structures, and relationshipsCreate custom visualizations, tables, and charts using Power BI's built-in features and third-party extensions (e.g., DAX, R)Implement advanced analytics techniques, such as data modeling, forecasting, and predictive analyticsOptimize report performance, ensuring fast rendering and smooth user interactionsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI development and deploymentStay abreast of the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trendsQualificationsUS citizenship required.2+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or a related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Designer/Developer role)Experience with DAX, R, or other programming languages for data analysisUnderstanding of data modeling concepts and data governance principlesFamiliarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data integration tools (e.g., SSRS, Informatica)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamNice To HaveExperience with other business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)Knowledge of data science concepts (e.g., machine learning, statistics) and data storytelling techniquesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)About Semper Valens SolutionsSemper Valens Solutions, Inc.
