Production/Shipping Floater

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities The Production / Shipping Floaterwill prioritize tasks based on operational need. Daily assignments mayShift To Support Production Demands. Primary Responsibilities PriorityBased Priority 1: High-Volume / High-Impact Production Support Performmulti-seal kit support, including wire expanding and preparation foroven processing Support PKG parts processing for CAT programs Operatethe Mag Line as assigned Paint parts at the paint booth in accordancewith SAP order requirements (including striping bars) Fix and cleanpower notches for CTB parts through bulk processing Perform laseretching operations on parts as required Priority 2: Machine Support /Entry-Level Operations Load and unload parts for designated machiningprocesses, including: Progress Rail drilling Slotting operations(Hardinge) Angle-step milling (as approved) Perform deburringoperations, including hand deburring and deburr tank usage Priority 3:Material Preparation & Secondary Operations Operate ovens for stressrelieving and heat shaping (crown operations excluded initially) Performentry-level slotting operations under supervision Operate bandsaws formaterial preparation and outside service support Perform secondarydrilling and tapping operations Oil parts when applicable in lieu ofmagnetic processing Priority 4: Logistics, Inventory & MiscellaneousSupport Load and unload Hunan parts from Thermtech crates and stage onbars Provide light fabrication support (e.g., Besley paddles, verticalcarriers) Assist with cycle counts for finished goods and warehouseinventory under Shipping supervision Apply Ferrox coating to power ringsWhen Required General Responsibilities Follow All Safety Policies Andwear required PPE at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and safework area Accurately follow travelers, work instructions, and supervisordirection Support production flow and assist operators as neededAccurately track work and materials when required Flex betweendepartments and tasks to meet production and shipping demands Performother duties as assigned Experience and Skills Required Ability to read,understand, and follow basic written and verbal instructions Basicmechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processesAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-pacedenvironment Strong attention to detail and quality Ability toeffectively communicate and work as part of a team Dependable attendanceand strong work ethic Prior manufacturing experience preferred but notRequired High School Diploma Or GED Preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to work a 40+ hour work week, including overtime as required tomeet production demands Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending,and reaching Frequent use of hands for material handling and manualoperations Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, with teamassistance for heavier items Ability to safely operate shop equipmentafter training \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Experience and Skills Required Ability to read, understand, and followbasic written and verbal instructions Basic mechanical aptitude andwillingness to learn manufacturing processes Ability to workindependently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Strongattention to detail and quality Ability to effectively communicate andwork as part of a team Dependable attendance and strong work ethic PriorManufacturing Experience Preferred But Not Required High School Diplomaor GED preferred Physical Requirements Ability to work a 40+ hour workweek, including overtime as required to meet production demandsProlonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching Frequentuse of hands for material handling and manual operations Ability to liftup to 50 pounds regularly, with team assistance for heavier itemsAbility to safely operate shop equipment after training \*\*\*\*\*APPLICATIO INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:https://www.grovercorp.com/careers-home/
