QA Analyst

Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to support testing efforts across multiple development projects. This role is responsible for executing test strategies, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery that meets business and user expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testingDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirementsIdentify, document, track, and retest defects using test management toolsPerform ongoing regression testing across multiple applications and systemsSupport multi-phase testing efforts and ensure timely project deliveryMaintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and testing resultsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teamsCommunicate testing progress, risks, and results to stakeholdersAssist in improving QA processes, standards, and best practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or Manual TesterExperience in large enterprise or financial services environments preferredStrong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)Hands-on experience writing and executing detailed test casesExperience with tools such as Jira, HP Quality Center/ALM, Xray, or similarProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with structured development environments (dev/test/production)Exposure to automated testing tools is a plusExperience testing web, mobile, API, and backend systems
