Counter Sales Associate / Standup ForkliftHiring a Counter Sales Associate to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. This is a Customer Service focused role that will answer phone calls and assist customers as they come into the store and look up parts etc. You will also perform shipping and receiving of parts and will use a forklift a few times a week.PAY RATE: 20.00 hourHOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F)LOCATION: Alpharetta, GA 30004POSITION: Right to HireDUTIES:Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.Completes written and computerized documentation.REQUIREMENTS:Requires a high school diploma or GED.Drug TestBackground CheckStand Up Forklift - RequiredCounter Sales or Customer Service experienceComputer skills to look up parts for customers and customer ordersShipping and Receiving experienceGood oral and written communications skills.Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.General HVAC knowledgeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Pre-Employment Screening:Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening based on local, state and federal laws in your region.
