Construction Accounting & Procurement Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Accounting & Procurement Specialist to support both financial and operational functions within our construction team. This role is responsible for managing vendor invoices, procurement processes, project cost tracking, and financial reporting, while working closely with Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate material planning and delivery.DutiesProcess vendor invoices and reconcile them against purchase ordersManage supplier relationships and oversee the procurement process from sourcing through deliveryDevelop, produce, and maintain material forecasts for ongoing and upcoming projectsCollaborate with Project Managers to schedule material needs and coordinate deliveriesManage and process sales tax payments in compliance with applicable regulationsPrepare and manage monthly customer and subcontractor AIA billing reportsGenerate and issue sales invoicesOversee accounts receivable, including tracking and collectionsAssist with month-end close, audits, and preparation of financial reportsQualifications:Prior experience in construction accounting, procurement, or a related roleStrong understanding of AIA billing processes and construction project workflowsProficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plusExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred Attributes:Experience working in a fast-paced construction or project-based environmentStrong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departmentsJoin us as a Construction Accounting & Procurement Specialist if you’re passionate about driving operational excellence through strategic sourcing, meticulous record-keeping, and robust vendor partnerships.
