We specialize in private duty nursing for medically fragile children and work closely with state programs, including IDPH and DSCC to deliver consistent, high-quality care in the home.Why This Role Is DifferentThis is a leadership role for a clinically strong nurse who wants to take ownership of operations and help strengthen and expand a well-established pediatric home nursing program.We have a solid foundation, long-standing relationships, and a clear opportunity to build on that momentum. The right person will play a central role in refining processes, supporting the team, and helping the organization reach its full potential.This role has direct visibility with ownership and meaningful influence over how the program evolves.The RoleYou will lead clinical operations while staying close to the work. This includes patient visits, oversight of nursing staff, quality assurance, and maintaining strong relationships with families and referral sources.This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable leading from the front and setting the tone for clinical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee clinical operations for pediatric home nursing servicesConduct patient visits and provide clinical oversightSupervise and support field nurses with clear expectations and accountabilityEnsure Plans of Care are accurate, timely, and compliantOversee documentation quality and regulatory adherenceBuild and maintain strong relationships with families, nurses, and referral partnersStrengthen relationships within DSCC and related programsAddress clinical and service issues promptly and effectivelyWhat We’re Looking ForActive Illinois RN licenseExperience in pediatric home health or private duty nursingPrior leadership experience (Supervisor, Clinical Manager, ADON, or similar)Strong clinical judgment and ability to operate independentlyComfortable in both field and leadership responsibilitiesHighly organized, responsive, and accountableFamiliarity with DSCC or similar programs is strongly preferredStructureThis position is posted as full-time. We are open to a structured part-time arrangement for the right candidate, particularly if they bring strong experience and established relationships in this space.
