Azure Data Engineer Principal duties and responsibilities:Configure and administer Azure data factory, databricks, synapse, sqldb, storage accounts, EventhubGood implementation knowledge on Azure IAM roles, Azure AD and RBACCore expertise (good knowledge) in Azure DevOps, Powershell, Python scriptingGood troubleshooting skills and capable of supporting critical production supportDeploy, configure and maintain Azure IaaS/PasS/SaaS services and networking services to support growth into the cloudOptimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operationsMust have Unix and Windows backgroundMinimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or experience7-8 years of industry experience with minimum 2 years of Azure administrationPreferred:Development experience in Azure stack (ADF, Databricks, Synapse)Experience in relational databases like Teradata, Oracle or SQL serverExperience in writing SQL/PL-SQL queries and proceduresExperience in analyzing data objects as well as system objects
