We’re looking for motivated developers who align with our core values: Servanthood, Excellence, and Wholeheartedness. *Summary:* Edustaff is looking for a software developer to oversee the upgrades and future development of a full stack PHP web application. The job will involve writing and testing code, solving problems based on user requirements, and incorporating the newest technologies and updates. In addition to programming, the individual is expected to learn the business domain. There will be ample opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills as we scale our services to match the growth of our company. This will require adapting quickly and working as a team to discover innovative solutions to complex problems. *Current Projects:* Full stack (PHP, MySQL, etc) version upgrades. Complete the migration of two legacy PHP applications to a single code base. Integrate the PHP application with other Edustaff services (Auth/SSO, CRM, HMRS, etc). *Responsibilities:* Write clean, effective, and scalable code. Implement new features and technologies into our current systems. Improve functionality and performance of existing systems. Write unit tests and debug code. Update and maintain dependencies. Use best practices to implement business requirements in software. *Qualifications:* 4+ years of relevant experience in the field. Familiarity with front-end technologies like TypeScript and GraphQL or REST. Experience with a PHP web framework (like Laravel or CakePHP). Experience with a front-end framework (like React, Angular, or Vue). Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and other development tools. Able to read and troubleshoot errors and stack traces. Works well within a team. Understand the basic concepts of a CI system. Ability to adapt to changes and new systems.
