Job Title: Monitoring Observability Platform EngineerLocation: Buffalo, NY – Onsite/HybridDuration: Long termJob DescriptionThis is a senior level engineer to support engineering and architecture functions for the observability team and based on positive team feedback, will be converted to FTE in 05/2027. This role is necessary to: - Provide hands-on technical leadership for platform reliability and scalability - Design and enforce observability patterns and standards - Lead AIOps enablement (Davis AI / causal analysis) - Prevent uncontrolled log growth, alert noise, and cost overruns - Ensure data models align across observability tools (Dynatrace, IBM SevOne, ServiceNow ITOM and others).Top Skills' Details1. Observability Platform Engineering & Architecture:*Deep expertise in designing and scaling observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, SevOne)*Ability to define and enforce observability patterns, standards, and data models*Strong understanding of platform reliability, scalability, and cross-tool integration2. AIOps & Advanced Analytics Enablement:*Hands-on experience with AIOps platforms and AI-driven analysis (e.g., Davis AI, causal analysis)*Ability to lead intelligent automation and root cause analysis initiatives*Familiarity with leveraging AI to improve operational decision-making3.
