This role plays a critical part in maintaining and repairing tube mill production equipment to ensure maximum uptime, product quality, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll thrive here if you enjoy hands-on problem solving, electrical troubleshooting, and contributing to a strong safety-first culture.What You'll DoMaintain electrical systems on production equipment while following all safety procedures, including LOTOVerify guards and safety devices are installed and functioning before equipment is released to operationsMonitor and inspect equipment using manual and computerized maintenance systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsUse hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, meters, and diagnostic equipmentTroubleshoot process and equipment issues, identifying and resolving electrical faultsPerform breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and electrical changeoversMaintain clean, audit-ready work areasCommunicate effectively with team members and provide guidance when neededReport unresolved safety, quality, or production concerns promptlyPerform additional duties as assignedWho You Are Associate's Degree, or equivalent (military experience accepted as equivalent)2+ years of electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environmentsExperience in tube mill or steel manufacturing preferredSkilled in reading schematics and using diagnostic toolsStrong communication, teamwork, and listening skillsAble to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, climbing, stooping)Proficient with basic computer systemsReliable, consistent onsite attendanceCommitted to OSHA and company safety standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, bend, climb, stoop, push, and pullRegularly required to stand and use hands/arms in a physically demanding environmentWhat You'll GetCompany-paid healthcare, dental, and vision401(k) with company matchCompany-paid life insurancePaid vacation & holidaysCompany-paid training and advancement opportunitiesTuition assistanceBonus planEmployee loyalty awards
