Inventory Clerk

Job Description Position OverviewEaston Select Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Clerk to support inventory control, warehouse operations, and material tracking across a growing multi-brand organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing inventory transactions, supporting receiving and distribution activities, and ensuring materials and supplies are properly organized and available to support field and operational teams.The Inventory Clerk plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency by helping maintain inventory accuracy, minimizing shortages, and ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse, purchasing, and field operations teams.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.Core ResponsibilitiesInventory Management & ControlMaintain accurate inventory records and assist with daily inventory tracking activitiesProcess inventory transactions including receiving, transfers, adjustments, and material usage updatesPerform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory auditsMonitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or replenishment needs to leadershipEnsure inventory data is updated accurately within inventory management or ERP systemsWarehouse & Material CoordinationReceive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments, materials, and suppliesAssist with staging, organizing, and distributing inventory for field crews, service teams, and construction projectsMaintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areasSupport loading and unloading of materials and deliveries as neededCoordinate material transfers between locations and operational teamsOperational & Administrative SupportAssist Purchasing, Operations, and Warehouse teams with inventory-related reporting and documentationSupport vendor deliveries, packing slips, and inventory reconciliation processesMaintain accurate inventory files, records, and operational documentationAssist with process improvements related to inventory organization and operational efficiencySupport additional warehouse and operational tasks as assignedSafety & ComplianceFollow company safety procedures and warehouse operational standardsSafely operate warehouse tools and equipment as requiredReport damaged inventory, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptlyHelp maintain compliance with company inventory control procedures and operational best practicesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious inventory, warehouse, logistics, or operational support experience preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and inventory systemsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse activities as neededReliable work ethic and strong attendance recordPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP or inventory management systems such as NetSuite preferredExperience within construction, home services, pool service, or distribution environments preferredFamiliarity with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse workflowsForklift certification or warehouse equipment experience is a plusStrong problem-solving and operational support mindsetAbout UsEaston Select Group is a Massachusetts-based company specializing in pool services and backyard leisure products.
