Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job Description9+ Yrs experience in SQL Server DBA ActivitiesDatabase software Installation and Configuration in accordance with Client defined standardsDatabase Migrations and UpdatesApplication of database patchesCapacity managementHands on experience in Server Performance tuning and RecommendationsHigh availability solutions and recommendationsHands on experience in Root cause analysis for business impacting issuesDaily, Weekly and Monthly reporting of the project activitiesWilling to work in oncall support environmentWorked as Project Lead with exposure in client handling and team buildingExperience in handling teams with multiple technology skillsITIL V3 Certified ProfessionalKnowledge in Sybase and/or Oracle will be added AdvantageStrong written & verbal communication skillsQualificationsSQL Server versions 2008, 2012, 2014Transact-SQLSQL Server High availability solutions (clustering, always-on availability groups)Log Shipping and Database mirroringWindows ScriptingBackup/Recovery/Cloning best practicesDatabase maintenance best practices.Additional Information** U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
