This is a great opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who can lead daily maintenance operations, handle service requests, support make-readies, and help maintain a high-quality resident experience.We are looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, organized, and comfortable troubleshooting maintenance issues while helping keep the community clean, functional, and move-in ready.Job Details:Location: Houston, TX 77047Build-to-rent communitySchedule: M-F 8 AM - 5 PMShared On-call scheduleImmediate opening availableProfessionally managed residential communityLead Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:Oversee daily maintenance operations for the communityComplete resident service requests in a timely and professional mannerCoordinate and prioritize work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turn schedulesLead make-ready work to ensure vacant homes are ready for new resident move-inTroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issuesHelp maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the community, including exterior areas and common spacesSupport grounds, curb appeal, and general property upkeep as neededAssist with emergency maintenance needs and help provide excellent resident serviceQualifications:Previous apartment maintenance experience requiredPrevious lead maintenance or supervisory maintenance experience preferredStrong knowledge of service requests, make ready, preventative maintenance, and general repairs requiredHVAC / EPA certification requiredMust be able to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issuesMust be dependable, organized, and able to prioritize work effectivelyStrong customer service and communication skills requiredMust be able to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview processWhy Apply with Hire Priority Staffing?Fast interviews and quick placementAccess to opportunities with leading multifamily and rental home communitiesSupport from a team focused on helping you succeedOpportunity to work with a professionally managed residential communityApply now and be available for an immediate interview.
