Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Painter, where your expertise in surface finishing and coating applications will play a vital role in producing high-quality, durable products. As an Industrial Painter, you'll be at the forefront of transforming raw components into finished goods through expert painting techniques, contributing directly to our commitment to excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality. Apply industrial coatings using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, or other hand tools with precision and consistency. Operate power tools, cranes, and forklifts safely to handle materials and move components efficiently. Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and basic math skills to verify dimensions and surface conditions before painting. Manage materials handling tasks including loading, unloading, and organizing paints, primers, solvents, and other supplies within the warehouse or fabrication area. Perform repair techniques when necessary to restore damaged surfaces prior to painting. Follow principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related industrial processes. Document work progress accurately through reports and logs for quality control and process improvement purposes. Experience Candidates should possess hands-on experience in industrial painting environments, demonstrating proficiency with airless spray systems and hand tools. Prior exposure to manufacturing settings involving machining, fabrication, welding, or auto body repair is highly valued. Familiarity with forklift operation, crane handling, materials management in warehouse environments, and the use of precision measuring instruments will set you apart. Basic math skills are essential for measurements and calculations involved in surface preparation and coating application.
